Bag packed coffee mainly divides to below:
A. Non-airtight packaging: Practically a temporary package, used only for short-term storage.
B. Vacuum packaging: It is necessary to place the roasted coffee beans for a period of time and then packaged to prevent carbon dioxide damage to the package, such packaging can generally be stored for about 10 weeks.
C. One-way valve packaging: A one-way valve is added to the bag to allow the carbon dioxide generated to be eliminated but will block the entry of external gases, which ensures that the coffee beans will not be oxidized but cannot prevent the loss of aroma. This type of packaging can be stored for up to 6 months. There are also some coffee using vent packaging that is only in the bag to play the vent without adding a one-way valve, so that once the carbon dioxide produced by the coffee beans empty, the outside air will enter the bag, resulting in oxidation, so its storage time will be greatly reduced.
D. Pressurized packaging: Coffee beans roasted soon after being vacuum-packed and then filled with inert gas sealing, this type of packaging can ensure that the coffee beans are not oxidized to ensure that the aroma will not be lost and there is enough strength to ensure that the packaging will not be damaged by the air pressure, can be stored for up to two years.
